If you want to take care of your dog and not have to worry about it on the internet, you should buy a puppy on Craigslist. There are a lot of dogs who need homes and puppies on Craigslist are great options for people with a lot of money to throw around.
I am a huge advocate of puppy stores on Craigslist (and I’ll keep that in mind for later on). But in my opinion puppies on Craigslist are only a way to get a dog that may not have a lot of puppies in the first place. They have a limited number of puppies, and if they are already in a store, they will be sold to people that are willing to pay a lot of money to get their baby back.
I have a lot of respect for people who are willing to pay out-of-pocket for a puppy that might not have a lot of puppies. The fact is, when I get my first puppy I can’t tell you how many times I would have paid a lot of money to get the puppy back if I had the money.

The problem is that there are probably many dogs that would make good pets, but they are too expensive, so you may have to settle for a puppy that is not a good candidate for you.
