craigslist is a site for people selling stuff online. They are, by definition, an online marketplace. However, they still have a strict set of rules that require you to be able to prove that you are a good person who wants to sell you the item or service you are selling.
I don’t know why I’m writing this as a person who doesn’t have pets, but let’s just say that having pets is not a good thing. I’m not going to go into a rant about the fact that pets are unhealthy and should not be used, but they certainly do not give you the peace of mind that you can trust the people who take good care of them.
Pets do give you peace and they are generally a great idea for people who have to take care of their pets. However, Craigslist is the ultimate example of a place where you cannot do business unless you are a super hero. It is a place where the only way to get any service is to provide a link with your own personal information.
This is where the whole concept of “reputation” comes into play. On craigslist you need to provide links of a certain kind to get a certain kind of service. There are a bunch of different kinds of services and the only way to obtain them is to provide links of one sort or another. This is the level of service craigslist gives you. I know this because I was once working for a company that did this kind of thing.
This is great for craigslist though. If someone makes a link to your ad and you don’t give them any personal information, they can’t link to your ad. That’s exactly how craigslist works. If you don’t provide personal information, they can’t link to your ad.
This is why I’m so worried about people using craigslist to link to something. The way craigslist works is like this. If you link to your ad, they can check out your profile and see if you have a lot of pets. If you have one or two pets, they can go, “Wait… you have a cat?” and start linking to your ad.
This is a problem for people who don’t want to risk making their personal information known and linking to their ad. This is why people who don’t want to give their personal information should not use craigslist. Craigslist is also a great place to link to your ad to make sure you get a lot of links.
