A big part of the Derp Animal theme is the animal’s reaction to these “dumb” situations. There are three levels of derp reactions that all animals have.
The first level is the instinctual reaction. A cat will usually go into a puddle if it sees a dog trying to jump in it. A dog will go into a puddle if a cat jumps in it. A dog and cat will get close to each other and go into a puddle if they touch. A dog and cat will get close to each other and will go into a puddle if the other dog is nearby.
The second level is the logical reaction. A dog will look for another dog to jump to, a cat will look for another cat to jump to, a bird will look for another bird to jump to, and a wolf will look for another wolf to jump to. So if two dogs are both trying to get a bird to jump to, it’s a logical reaction to give the other dog a better jump than the other bird.
This is one of the few times I wish I could be a dog. The only way to become a dog is from a female dog. And while the female dog is not exactly a dog, she will be close to being a dog.
Of course, it’s no secret that I’m an animal fanatic. But the best part about this dog is that she’s a cute, fluffy, fluffy animal. I love cats, but I love dogs even more. I don’t want to see cat lovers turn into cat-haters.
