In short, the essentia helps us to relax and de-stress because it releases the “tension” or “stress” from our bodies. The “essence” is the essence of one experience; a distilled essence that we can use to help the body de-stress and relax.
I don’t want to talk about the scientific evidence that shows the power of essentia, but I do want to talk about my favorite new research paper on the relationship between essentia and stress.
The relationship between stress and depression is a topic that I have covered in previous articles, so I won’t go into too much detail today. But I will say, the scientific evidence is strong that stress is bad for you. Stress can cause a variety of negative health issues, including headaches, fatigue, and insomnia.
