That means that we have an unbelievable amount of light sources to play with.
This is why I think that hand shadowing and painting are two distinct things. The tools are different, but the end result is the same.
When you paint, the light colors that you create can be used as a foundation for other colors that you do not paint. This can be used in either the same or a different way. For example, if you need a red wall to go with a deep blue wall, painting deep blue will give you a new red wall, but if you need your deep blue walls to go with your deep red walls, you can paint two walls of the same color and they will look the same.
