Yes, I am also a member of Maggies Gala, but I’m not the only one. And I’m not even the best friend of the winner. Maggies Gala is a two-day, four-night event. It is a networking event where you hang out with other members of the group, and there’s a ton of fun to be had. The main goal of the event is to raise money for the Maggies Gala and their various causes.
So that’s what the Maggies Gala is all about. It’s just like some sort of networking event, except it has a lot more to do with raising money and supporting charity then it does networking. It’s an event where you get to see people who support various charities in the area, and theres an even greater amount of fun to be had when you attend.
Like, at a Maggies Gala it’s just like, “Hey, you know this charity that I’m going to help? Well, maybe you could visit their website and see what they’re doing?” But at a Maggies Gala you get to meet a lot more people, and more importantly you get to support a great cause. You also get to spend more time with your friends, and that last part might be the most important.
The fact is that a lot of people only think that they support charities because they want to get something for nothing. But these same people will also donate money on a regular basis, and that money will go to charity. In other words, you don’t have to support a charity to support a cause, you just have to support a charity every now and then.
So the next time you see someone with a check in their pocket, make a mental note of who it’s going to be going to. The odds are that you’ll find out. But if you don’t, you’ll be the biggest jerk ever.
You might be surprised to learn that the Maggs are a family who are all about giving back and doing good.
