If you are a cat lover like me, you may have noticed that there are a lot of cataracts on the internet. There are even more than ever and it’s a huge issue.
Cataracts are basically blinding cataracts and the reason why cats are seeing them is because they have a high density of the eye-safe material called “fovea” which acts as a barrier to light, keeping the cataract from being visible. You can read more about fovea here.
According to the cataract research team at the University of California, one in four cats that have fovea-damaged eyes will eventually be cataracted. That means that there are a lot of cats out there who will slowly lose their sight. It also means that we have to learn how to cataract ourselves.
Cataracts are basically the same thing as glaucoma, except a cataract can form in the eye and then slowly damage the optic nerve leading to blindness. That would be the same thing that would happen to a person with glaucoma, except the cataract is much more severe.
The reason for this is because cataracts are caused by aging. So if you’re young, you can have cataracts. If you’re older, you can still get cataracts. The difference being that while in cataracts, the retina is damaged, it’s not all the retina is damaged. So you can have cataracts and have just a portion of the retina affected. There may be no symptoms, like blur vision.
The other part of the cataract is that the damage to the eyes is permanent. The reason the cataract may be permanent is that the cataract forms when the lens of the eye is damaged, and the cataract grows in size over time. This damage isn’t like the damage caused by aging, which only affects the retina.
We’re talking about an eye injury that is permanent. So while there is a chance that you may be able to see without cataracts, there is also a chance that you are going blind. This is because an eye injury might have caused some damage to the optic nerve which is the part of the eye that is responsible for forming images. When you have cataracts the optic nerve is damaged. This is why cataracted eyes are sometimes called “cataract eyes.
Cataracts are one of the most common eye diseases, and the most serious. The condition usually occurs when there is a buildup of cholesterol and other substances in the blood vessels which leads to a decrease in tear production which causes fluid in the eyeball to break loose into the tear glands. This causes the fluid to go into the eye, which causes the lens to become cloudy and can make you see blurry.
There’s no cure, but there are treatments, including glasses and surgery. The first step is to stop the fluid from flowing into the eye. That’s done by blocking the fluid with a gel, and that’s done by putting a piece of cardboard or a piece of newspaper over the fluid to prevent it from flowing into the eye.
We were at the dentist on Thursday for our cataract surgery, and the staff member who came to my aid was able to take out a piece of paper with a written description of the fluid. It said, “B.” This is the fluid which is causing the damage to the lens in my left eye. The fluid is causing the damage in the right eye and in both eyes. It’s the fluid which is causing the damage to the lens in my right eye.
