I used to love puppets. They were a new toy for me. I even had a puppet shop in my hometown of New York City. I would go to the store and sit with my mom or my sister and watch the puppets made. I had a love for them. I even tried to make my own puppets, but my hands just wouldn’t do what I wanted them to do. I would have to make them myself.
Well, now, I have. I make my puppets and I use the material I’ve collected and saved over the course of my life to make them. I’m in love with them. The puppets are a new interest for me and I love making them.
Well, puppets are not just for kids. They’re great for adults too. My sister Lizzie is a puppeteer and my mom has a lot of the materials she needs to make her own puppets. For example, I made this very creepy little puppet about 10 years ago. It was a good thing my mom didn’t know about my little secret and bought me a new one in my 10th birthday.

What I love about the puppets is that theyre made from materials that aren’t usually that cheap to buy. For example, the puppets are made from PVC pipe and wood. Theyre also made from materials that are cheap to buy like plastic, paper, and even plasticine. Why do they have to be made from cheap materials though? Im sure they help kids have a good time playing with them. And theyre fun too.
