Every day you go to class, you hear things from all directions and you try to figure out what they mean. You try to read and write and think about what you just read and think about what you just wrote and what you just thought. But, what you actually know is that you don’t know. You don’t know why you think something. You don’t know why you feel something. You don’t know what is going on.
Just to give you a quick example. You’re at a lecture and you look over at your professor and you ask what the weather is like today. You think to yourself, “I dont know. I dont know.” You look back up and you see him grinning and nodding and he says, “I dont know.” You go back to your class and think about this for a bit and you find yourself thinking, “Maybe this is a test.
We could probably live without this type of thing, but in fact we do. We get a lot of this sort of thing from work. Sometimes it just so happens that if we think too much about it, we can forget what we think we know.
Yes, we’ve all been to university. We study, we get good grades, we get good results for our work. But that’s just the surface. A lot of us are in this place because we are in the same situation as the people who are reading this.
We all get into this situation when we find ourselves in the same situation as a person who has just been told by a research scientist that we are going to be doing something that we arent really sure we should. We get a lot of research papers and think that this is normal. After all, we do this all the time.
The only difference between us and the person who is being told that we are going to be doing something that we arent sure we should is that our research has been done by a university. A university is a very different place than a person. When a university asks a person to do research work, they are asking them to do something that is very different from the work that research researchers in other parts of the world do.
We are all very good at math. We don’t have time for the math stuff at all. If I had to guess, I would say that the world is pretty much the same except that I have a bunch of people doing random math and I am the math teacher. Of course, there is a difference between the students, but I don’t think it’s a big one.
For university researchers, the way the world looks is very different from the way it looks in other parts of the world, so they might expect to get a more challenging environment. We also have to imagine that the people doing the work are very smart and that they are probably not going to be doing it under the direction of a professor, although they may have some sort of supervision.
In one sense, this is true. Most universities in the US are very small and very unstructured. In fact, the research and development is done in the basement of a business building, or by a small group of people. On the other hand, a university is a place where you can try things out for yourselves. They are not meant to be a place where you go to be spoon-fed information.
Universities are actually very good at making sure that students can do things they are uncomfortable with. For example, if I want to build a house, I am not going to go to my professor and get a list of specifications over the telephone and then go out and build my house. I am going to do it by myself because I am not comfortable with the idea of having to do all the building myself.
